Come See Me

On June 18th Tigers for Tomorrow at Untamed Mountain opened the first section of the West Side Preserve. Cowboy says, "Come see me. I am the second largest tiger at the preserve and have been waiting patiently for this section to open. You’ll also get to see my neighbors Boris the Great, a recently adopted African lion along with Dakota, a friendly mountain lion. The new wolf pack habitat is in this section, so you can view “juveniles” Tanke, and Wamble, with their adult wolf teachers in action. We are all so excited to see you and be seen!"

The West Side Preserve will eventually be the main entrance to the Tigers for Tomorrow preserve. The second phase of the West Side Preserve is the under-construction bear habitats, soon to be home of Cody and Ranger, the newly adopted black bear cub.

We are very thankful for the Folke H. Peterson Foundation grant combined with the grant bestowed from the Daniel Foundation of Alabama, contributions from the Sharing Foundation, Regions Bank, Walmart, along with all of your support that has helped give TFT a jump start on the development of the West Side Preserve. We do need to raise additional funds to complete this 7 acre project and have fundraisers planned, starting July 24th 6-8pm at the Huntsville Botanical Garden, a wine tasting (over 20 wines).
