Marketing & Fundraising Coordinator – Huntsville Area (Volunteer or Paid Position Available)

Tigers for Tomorrow, a nonprofit animal preserve, is seeking a Marketing & Fundraising Coordinator to help expand our outreach and fundraising efforts in the Huntsville, Alabama area. Our fundraising goals focus on critical projects such as our Perimeter Expansion Plan, Global Funding Campaigns, new exhibits, and essential animal care initiatives.

We are looking for someone passionate about animals and nonprofit work who can assist with community networking, donor outreach, event coordination, and securing sponsorships and grants. Due to our tight budget, this position can be a volunteer opportunity or possibly a paid position depending on experience and fundraising success.

Seasonal Part-Time Position at our Cafe

Position could lead to Full-Time Hours

Tigers for Tomorrow is a nonprofit animal preserve dedicated to providing a forever home for rescued exotic animals while offering educational experiences to the public. Our mission is to promote understanding, conservation, and appreciation of wildlife.

We are currently seeking seasonal staff to run our Dragonfly Café, the on-site concession at Tigers for Tomorrow. This position will start as part-time and may transition to full-time based on need and performance.

The Role:

Working at the Dragonfly Café is more than just serving food—it's about being part of a team that helps create an unforgettable experience for visitors. Every role at Tigers for Tomorrow contributes to making our nonprofit a successful and educational facility.

Responsibilities:

Serving customers in a friendly and efficient manner

Preparing and selling food and drinks

Maintaining cleanliness of the café, including dishwashing and sanitizing workspaces

Stocking supplies and assisting with inventory

Following health and safety guidelines for food service

This is a great opportunity to gain customer service experience, work in a fast-paced environment, and be part of a team that supports wildlife conservation!

Part-Time Tour Guide

Are you passionate about wildlife and education? Tigers for Tomorrow is looking for an enthusiastic part-time tour guide to help connect visitors with our incredible animal ambassadors!

This is a unique and exciting opportunity—you’ll spend your time both around the animals and leading engaging tours, including community tours and private tours. As a tour guide, you’ll share information about:

✅ The animals and their wild counterparts

✅ Their diets, behaviors, and conservation

✅ The role of the Preserve in providing a forever home

Requirements:

Must be comfortable walking on uneven terrain and nature trails throughout the Preserve.

Tours take place in various weather conditions, including overcast days.

Strong communication skills and a passion for educating the public.
