Stock the Barn- Warm Their Winter
Feeding and Warming the Animals at the Preserve through the Winter Months
As winter approaches, we prepare to care for every life on the mountain—from the gentle barnyard animals who welcome each guest to the majestic predators who fill the heart of the preserve.
We are gathering what is needed to keep them fed, dry, warm, and safe through the cold months.
Our Goal is $10,300:
$5,500 for 100 round bales of hay
$4,800 for barn feed, grain, and daily nutrition
Your gift becomes:
Food in a trough
Warmth in a shelter
Bedding that protects soft bones from the cold
Comfort that carries us all through winter
Every bale is a blessing.
Every handful of feed matters.
Every gift is love made visible.
Echoes of the Wild: Predator Preserve Expansion
2024-2030
Donate through Global Giving
Challenge
The preserve, now nearing capacity with over 175 animals, urgently needs to expand its existing predator compound by an additional 10 acres. This expansion is critical to improving the overall wellness of our animals and will significantly enhance our ability to care for exotic and wild animals in need of a final, safe haven. The new area will provide much larger habitats, complete with natural enrichment features and "jungle gyms" for play, offering a more stimulating and healthier environment.
Solution
Expanding by 10 acres will allow space for future animals in need and enhance animal wellness with larger, enriched habitats and play areas. This vital space will allow us to better care for our animals, providing a larger, more stimulating environment. Your support through funding, materials, and collaboration is crucial to making this expansion possible, ensuring our preserve continues to offer a final, safe haven and upholding our mission to protect and preserve predators in need of a home.
Long-Term Impact
Our foremost commitment is to preserve wild and exotic animals through education and conservation. We are dedicated to their protection, ensuring their well-being by creating a center of excellence. We aim to be a beacon of preservation, sustainability, and animal wellness. Through our animal wellness program, we strive to lead in these fields, continually seeking innovative approaches to enhance our work and set high standards for others in the industry.
