With the exception of the Fundraising/Marketing Coordinator position based in the Huntsville area, we prefer that applicants for all other open positions live within approximately one hour of the preserve. This ensures staff are available for training, scheduling, and in case of emergencies.

Entry Level-Landscape & Maintenance Assistant
Tigers for Tomorrow | Attalla, AL
Are you someone who enjoys working outdoors and getting your hands dirty for a good cause? Join the Tigers for Tomorrow team and help us keep Untamed Mountain looking wild—but well cared for!
Responsibilities include:
-Weed-whacking and trimming around walkways and landscaped areas
-Maintaining paths, flower beds, and public spaces
-Assisting with basic maintenance projects (fixing fences, small repairs, painting, etc.)
-Supporting upkeep and cleanliness of the preserve grounds
Requirements:
-Must be able to lift 40+ lbs
-Comfortable working in outdoor conditions year-round
-Responsible, dependable, and able to work independently
-Must have reliable transportation
-Experience with landscaping tools is a plus, but not required
Full-Time Animal Keeper

Tigers for Tomorrow at Untamed Mountain is seeking a strong, reliable, and compassionate Animal Keeper to join our team. This role involves daily care, feeding, cleaning, and enrichment for a wide variety of exotic and domestic animals, including big cats, wolves, bears, and barnyard animals.
Requirements:
Animal care experience preferred (zoo, sanctuary, farm, or veterinary experience)
Comfortable with physically demanding, all-weather work
Good communication and observation skills
Strong work ethic, accountability, and ability to follow directions
Must have reliable transportation
Must live within an hour from the preserve.

Part-Time Equine Caretaker

Tigers for Tomorrow is looking for a local, part-time Equine Caretaker to join our team. Duties include:

Part-Time Cafe Help
Saturdays and Sundays 10AM- 2 PM and on call for scheduled field Trips throughout the week
Part-Time Concessions Assistant (Weekends + Field Trips)
Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., plus on-call weekday shifts during school field trips (as needed)
Status: Part-time
The Concessions Assistant supports our café/concessions area during public hours and field trips. You’ll help guests with quick, friendly service; prepare simple menu items; keep the area stocked and clean; and be an upbeat ambassador for the preserve.
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests and provide excellent, efficient service
Operate POS/cash handling accurately; reconcile drawer as directed
Prepare and serve light food/beverage items; follow portion and recipe guidelines
Maintain food-safe practices (sanitation, hand-washing, temperature logs)
Restock products, condiments, and paper goods; rotate inventory (FIFO)
Keep counters, equipment, and seating areas clean and organized
Communicate low stock, maintenance, or safety issues promptly
What We’re Looking For
Weekend availability required; weekday on-call flexibility for field trips
Friendly, reliable, and calm under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Able to stand for long periods and lift up to ~30–40 lbs
Team player with clear communication and attention to detail
No prior experience necessary — training provided!
